Hi, we're planning a Silk Road trip for a small group next spring. Do you cover all five countries?
Hi, Arsenty here from the Central Asia DMC. We do, borders included :) Which month are you thinking?

chapter five · what we cater to

What you can bring us

The formats that have already run here under our own brands, and the practical answers you'd ask for on the first call.

Overland, the full loop

Bishkek to Tashkent or the reverse — five borders, 23 to 26 days, yurt camps to Silk Road cities.

Rail

The Astana–Almaty fast train, the Soviet sleeper to Khiva, the Afrosiyob between Samarkand and Bukhara.

Walking, lvl 1 to lvl 4

City walks on the craft trips; Telety, Ala Kul and the Fann Mountains under canvas at level 4.

Women-only

Patch, Camino Women and Harriet Adventures all run women-only departures here.

Craft & food

Pottery with the Rahimovs, suzani, silk at Yodgorlik, shyrdak felt, plov, lagman, tandoor bread.

Birding

No birding itinerary runs here yet; one is in design. Tell us if your guests bird and we build the day notes with you.

Sketching

Wayward Paper runs The Slow Line here — fourteen days, five cities and the Fergana workshops with a sketchbook in hand, from March 2027.

Fixed departure groups

Set dates, one operator's group, our ground team. That's what we run — no FITs, no MICE.

Borders & combining countries
The Silk Road loop crosses Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan by road, rail and two internal flights. Turkmenistan is the one that needs a visa and a letter of invitation — we arrange it.
Permits & altitude
Passes up to 3,800 m on the walking trips, acclimatisation days built in. Permits for the border zones and the Fann Mountains are ours to sort.
Group size
Our own brands run 12 to 14 guests. Tell us your group size.
When something moves
Weather, a pass, a border — you hear it from us before a guest tells you.
